Miller & Associates. She joined Richard K. Miller & Associates, Inc. in 1981 and directed most of the firms’ research projects, specializing in casino/gaming markets. Over the years, Ms. Walker directed market research in a variety of industries, including artificial intelligence, virtual reality, expert systems, electronic imaging/image processing, healthcare and the environment. In 1990, she was invited by Stanford Research Institute to join other industry experts in being one the first lay-people to experience virtual reality. She used the technology to build and enter a virtual world. Her trips to Venezuela, Peru, Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina, Chile, Mexico and Puerto Rico provided the background for a series of reports on Latin American markets.
